UPDATED: Thanks to Seattle Mayor Bruce Harrell for keynoting this year’s Fremont Neighborhood Council Annual General Meeting (AGM). The minutes of the April 25, 2022 meeting will include a summary of the mayor’s remarks, and will be posted as soon as they are approved, probably at the June 27 board meeting.

Your Fremont Neighborhood Council recently partnered with the Fremont Arts Council as FAC revives the Solstice Parade this coming June. We’ve supported the Friends of Troll’s Knoll improvements around the Troll and the P-Patch there, and the Fremont Chamber of Commerce work to enhance and repair the stairway on Fremont Ave N, the Fremont murals at Bridge Way N and N 46th Street and other Fremont art. Our board meetings have featured our two city councilmembers and their staffs, information about the huge projects along the Ship Canal, transit issues, and much more.
AGENDA: The Board of Directors will recommend the following bylaw amendments at the meeting:
Section 8: “Delete Section 8 of the current bylaws, dated April 2021.” Reason: Section 8 of the bylaws should be deleted due to duplication with Section 2 of the bylaws regarding Meetings.

Business Meeting The business meeting will include the election of officers and board members. All residents of Fremont are eligible to join FNC and paid members can vote at the AGM. The Fremont Neighborhood Council is currently seeking new board members. Contact information can be found below.
