2016 Call for Artists–Fremont Arts Council’s Feast of the Winter Solstice  Deadline–Friday, December 9th, 2016, by midnight, for the Feast of the Winter Solstice December 21, 2016.

The Fremont Arts Council invites artists to propose art installations and performance for the Feast of the Winter Solstice, a spectacular annual gathering for the FAC community. The Great Hall is created by the revelers themselves; the decorations, the costumes, a shared meal, and a community ritual.

Any artist or artist group who has a vision for something awesome they want to bring to life in front of hundreds of people, or who has a sublime idea for our community ritual should send us their proposal.  Some funds are available to reimburse expenses to support artists to create inspirational artwork for this event as we come together to engage in reflection, artistic expression and community.

Please check out our website for more information about submitting your proposal: http://fremontartscouncil.org/call-for-artists-feast-of-the-winter-solstice/  (please share this call for artists with your artist friends)
