This just in from Northwest SEED, which is working to bring solar power to NW Seattle, including Fremont:

…absolutely delighted to announce the launch of our brand new website! It’s a whole new look for us, and we think you’ll love it as much as we do. ,,,For the past eleven years, Northwest SEED has been empowering communities all over the Pacific Northwest to take control of their local energy assets. Northwest SEED’s efforts empower local action to address the global issues of climate change and resource depletion. We cannot wait to take action. Instead, we can start, here and now in our own community, to build a resilient, distributed energy network. Our work helps individuals, families, and communities become active purveyors of clean, local energy alternatives such as solar and wind energy.

Our new website is the perfect place to keep you up to date on Northwest SEED’s exciting projects. We’re working hard on new ways to make access to renewable energy easier, bring Solarize to new neighborhoods, and working with farmers and rural small businesses from Walla Walla to the Willamette Valley. We have a number of new projects in the works, so check back often in order to find out what’s new, and how you can participate.
