Proposal-development for North side of 34th Jan 2015

At the Fremont Neighborhood Council on Monday, January 26, 2015, 7-8:30pm at the Doric Temple, 619 N. 36th St., some very important projects with real impact on Fremont will be discussed. First, the major new project proposed for the north side of 34th from Carquest Bldg to Aurora, in the block that includes History House and Milstead Coffee—across the alley from the other new project east of Library will be presented. The address is 744 North 34th, DPD No. 3018639 (files available at http://web6.seattle.gov/dpd/edms/ ) First Design Review meeting for this project is February 2, 8 p.m., Ballard Community Center, 6020 – 28th Ave NW. Another  new project we are tracking has an Early Design Guidance meeting on Monday, February 9, 6:30 p.m. at  Ballard Community Center, 6020 – 28th Ave NW: 3519 Fremont Place North–no. 3018992 (files available at http://web6.seattle.gov/dpd/edms/ ). We will discuss this project on February 23, 7 pm, at Doric Temple.

This Monday night at FNC, we will also hear a report from SDOT ON their Fremont Stairway Rebuild Projects, including problems with steps on 43rd between Palatine and Greenwood and the new proposed replacement of current stairs at Bowdoin between Evanston Alley and Fremont.
