Severe Weather Shelters Open this Weekend – During this period of forecasted extreme temperatures the City of Seattle is opening Severe Weather Shelter tonight, Tuesday, December 3rd through Sunday, December 8th. The shelter serves men and women and is located at the Rainier Room, 305 Harrison Street. The Rainier Room is on the grounds of the Seattle Center just north of Key Arena. The hours of operation are 8:30pm to 7:00 am. The City Hall Co-ed Shelter for Adults, 600 4th Avenue (Enter at 4th & Cherry – Seattle), 7:00pm – 7:00am

WHEEL Winter Shelter for Women, Plymouth Congregational Church, 1217 Sixth Avenue (Enter South doors near 6th & Seneca, Seattle)

Hours: Mondays – 10pm – 7:30am

Tuesdays/Wednesdays/Thursdays – 9:30pm – 7:30am

Fridays/Saturdays/Sundays – 8pm – 7:30pm [Should read 7:30 am?]
