Volunteers are needed to put more art in the neighborhood–Catholic Community Services, which will start construction on a new building at the site of the old Thunderbird Motel, will design and paint art panels to hang on the construction fence. The Fremont Arts Council has agreed to allow CCS to use the Powerhouse to paint the panels and ArtWorks is going to work with youth from some of CCS’s youth programs. It will be a great way to kick off the start of construction. Interested in getting involved? Contact Dan Wise, Division Director, Catholic Community Services, cell 206.228.4065 DanW@ccsww.org
