UPDATE: The survey is extended until this Friday, April 12.
SDOT (Seattle Department of Transportation) is entering a design phase for Aurora Ave improvements and is seeking community input and feedback. They have presented four very conceptual drawings to initiate discussions. They also have a survey to be completed by April 5 (which may be extended to April 12). You may also sign up for project notifications or add/update your preferences on the project listserv.
We are also in discussions with SDOT to present the project at our May 20th FNC meeting, so stay tuned!
I’m excited to see what positive changes are coming to Aurora. Making safe bike lanes and wider sidewalks will get more people out of their cars and shopping at businesses along the entire street. We need safer, more efficient travel for everyone!
Yes! Be sure to provide your feedback to SDOT. Also check out the Aurora Reimagined Coalition, if you haven’t already!
