7:00 Introductions

7:20 Presentation and discussion about Seattle’s tree policies, Part 1: From the perspective of City ownership.–Jana Dilley from Seattle Public Utilities (SPU) and Darren Morgan from Seattle Dept of Transportation (SDOT) will make a short presentation and respond to questions. If you send your questions–enter as comments below–before the meeting, we will pass them along so Jana and Darren can be prepared. Their focus is management of City-owned trees, but they are aware of our concern about the interface between SPU and SDOT and private development that impacts trees on public property such as street trees. We need to get RPZ in our neighborhood. We were supposed to have in in 2008, however they mysteriously misplaced the records. They found them but then said we had to reapply etc. We are on the south side of the zoo between 50th and 46th and Phinney and Aurora.
