ONE WEEK EARLY! TUESDAY, November 19, 2024 

Meeting topic: State Representative Nicole Macri will be our guest to answer questions and discuss topics related to State legislation. If you have questions you would like addressed to Rep. Macri send them to fremont.neighborhood.council@gmail.com by this Thursday November 14. We will also have resident(s) from Upper Fremont to discuss proposed zoning changes there, and representative(s) from the Complete Communities Coalition (CCC) to talk about the zoning proposals in the One Seattle Plan.

7:00      Welcome and Land Acknowledgement

7:02      Introductions: Meet your neighbors!

7:08      State Representative Nicole Macri will discuss topics related to State Legislation.

8:00      Norma Jones will start discussion of zoning changes proposed for Upper Fremont in the One Seattle Plan.

8:15      A representative(s) from the Complete Communities Coalition will talk about zoning proposals in the One Seattle Plan.

8:30      General meeting adjourns.

6:15 – 6:45     The Board will meet before the General meeting but interested members are welcome to attend. Business items: VOTE: Approval of $275 for Form 1023-EZ to apply for recognition of tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code VOTE: Approval of past minutes and treasury reports. DISCUSS: Materials to hand out for fairs, meetings, and community engagement. DISCUSS: Creative Arts Council. PLAN: January meeting with focus on membership and community engagement. PLAN: Potential speakers for February and March.
