Fremocentrist passed on this story: Artists Laura Haddad and Tom Drugan will be outside the PCC this Wednesday (Sep 9th) from 4pm- 7pm, Thursday (Sep 10th) from 4pm – 7pm, or Saturday (Sep 12th) from 10am– 1 pm at PCC. They’ll be “collecting stories and snapping photos of souvenirs of people here. They want to create an art piece for the neighborhood that reflects our experience of Fremont, and to do that they need to hear from us. Fremocentrist reports that “At 3519 Fremont Place N, Parkstone Properties has proposed to build a new apartment building with retail/restaurant space on the main floor, called Cubix. Parkstone has partnered with King County 4Culture to find artists Haddad|Drugan and give them a commission to build an art installation specific to this location and building.”
