You’re invited to help with two neighborhood clean-ups this weekend.

  • Saturday, August 10: Neighborhood group FAWN writes, “Please join your neighbors for a cleanup of Aurora Ave this coming Saturday, August 10, at 11 a.m. We’ll meet at the northwest corner of 41st street and Aurora, at the foot bridge. We have a limited number of work gloves and tools for picking up litter, so please bring your own if you have them.” RSVP to FAWN at fawn.seattle@gmail.com
  • Sunday, August 11, 10:30-12:30 at the mural: The 46th Street Mural Steering Committee writes, “The 46th Street Mural needs a quick sprucing up, and you’re invited to help. Bring brooms to sweep the city dust off of the walls that don’t get rained on, weeding tools to get rid of the weeds, and garbage bags. Just a couple of hours to make the mural beautiful again. Sunscreen, gloves, a hat and some water would be good to bring too.” Gather at the mural–in the underpass at Aurora and N 46th Street. RSVP on the Facebook page here.

Thanks for helping to make our neighborhood even better!
