On Dec. 3 celebrate and then reflect at two Fremont events

Congratulations to Fremont–the American Planning Association has awarded Fremont as one of the top 10 planned neighborhoods in the country and the Fremont Chamber invites Fremonsters to join the Fremont Chamber as we celebrate the season of giving.  Fremont Chamber Holiday Party & Awards Celebration, Wednesday, December 3, 5pm – 7pm at Fremont Studios.  The Chamber writes, “Scott and the whole crew at Fremont Studios pulls out all the stops to make the Fremont Studios look magnificent. With the 2014 Awards, celebrating the heroic accomplishments of a few, who through the year went over and above to make Fremont Awesome!!  The Fremont Chamber welcomes City of Seattle Mayor Ed Murray as we proudly accept a special, national award at our annual Holiday Party. The American Planning Association has awarded Fremont as one of the top 10 planned neighborhoods in the country. We are excited to include this award presentation and display this auspicious award at this year’s event. Munchies provided by PCC Natural Market and Theo Chocolate, with beverages from from Schilling Cider and Fremont Brewing and more!!” Cost: $20, members (member discount to attend applies to FNC members too), $25 non-members with a $5 non-registration fee at the door. Then, from 7-8:30pm, also on Dec. 3, you are invited to a free showing of “A Place at the Table,” a film and conversation about reducing hunger and increasing nutrition in our country.
